W.W. DENIM PANTS / ダブルダブルデニムパンツ

Introducing the "W.W. DENIM PANTS" from ROARS ORIGINAL.

The "W.W." stands for "Windstop" and "Waterproof."
At ROARS ORIGINAL, we apply this W.W. treatment to various fabrics, including those used for hoodies and denim.
The process involves bonding (heat-pressing) a windproof and waterproof film to the back of the fabric itself.
While the outer surface is casual denim, the structure prevents cold wind from penetrating to the inside.
If it rains, the outer denim fabric will get wet, but the water will not seep through. Please note that the seams are not sealed, so while they offer effective water resistance, they are not completely waterproof.

Wearing an inner layer on very cold days enhances their performance.
Both the denim fabric and the bonded film offer stretch capabilities, making them extremely comfortable to wear while riding a motorcycle.
It is remarkable to see denim pants that combine windproof and waterproof qualities with stretchability―a true testament to modern material evolution.

The pants are made from 13-ounce denim. Because the film is bonded to the fabric, the material has a firmer, more structured feel compared to standard denim pants.

They are designed to accommodate knee protectors.
ROARS ORIGINAL uses mesh protectors, which are lightweight and resilient.
Even if you choose not to purchase the protectors, the pants come with built-in pockets at the knees to hold them.
The knee pockets measure approximately 21 cm vertically and 17 cm horizontally; you may be able to use your own protectors if the size fits.

These pants are washable. Since they are made of "non-wash" (raw) denim, color transfer may occur during the first wash; please avoid washing them with white fabrics.
Air drying will cause the garment to shrink by approximately 1 to 1.5 cm overall.
Please avoid using a tumble dryer and let them air dry naturally.
They feature a leather patch, which can be washed along with the pants. We also offer the "STANDARD DENIM PANTS," which feature the same design but without the bonded lining. If you're interested, please be sure to check those out as well.
