って・・・あれ？
前回までのスカルナンバーボルトに耳・・ありましたっけ？？
耳、ありませんでした（笑）！
今回からは新たに耳の付いた「キャットスカルナンバーボルト」に生まれ変わりました！
なんじゃい！前回から耳が付いただけじゃないか！って・・まぁおっしゃる通りなのですがｗ、これでもナンバーボルトを作ってくれているKausさんと長々と協議した結果このような形になりました。
デザインも一新するつもりで挑んだのですが、リアルなネコ骸骨もイマイチだったりして・・・結局、前回のスカルに耳が付きました（笑）。でも可愛いでしょｗ。
今回のカラー展開はブラック、ホワイトです。
ブラックは目立たない面白さがあり、ホワイトは汚れて色もくすんでくるとリアルな骸骨に近づく面白さもあります。
「CAT SKULL NUMBER BOLT」はオーバイにナンバープレートを取り付ける際に使用する「ナンバーボルト」です。
取り付け方法ですが、ナンバーボルト購入時にナットが１つ・スプリングワッシャーが１つ・平ワッシャー２枚が付属されています。
取り付ける際はナンバープレートとステーをワッシャーで挟み、スプリングワッシャーとナットで締め付けてください。定着が不安な方は大き目の平ワッシャーも追加すると安心かと思います。
プラスチックのスカル内部にはボルトの頭をダブルナットにして埋め込んでいるので、丈夫に作られています。
よって、スカル部をモンキーレンチなどなんらかの工具で挟んで角度を決め、後ろからボルトを締めこんでください。（締め付けの力はほどほどに）

僕はビューエルというハーレーエンジンの振動のかなり多いバイクにもこのナンバーボルトを付けていますが、10年以上付けていて今まで問題ないので耐久性は問題ないかと思います。
と言いつつも旧車やハーレーなど振動の多いバイクに乗っている方は、たまに増し締め点検される事をおすすめします。
スカルの素材はプラスチックです。ボルトやワッシャー等はステンレスです。スカルナンバーボルトは二個セットの販売になります。
この「キャットスカルナンバーボルト」の面白さは、スカルの見える角度にもあります。フェンダーレス等でナンバープレートに角度が付いている方は比較的スカルの顔が見え易いです。ノーマルのバイクの方はスカルが下を向き、それはそれで何者か解らない雰囲気が面白いです。
大きなパーツのカスタムも良いですが、ナンバーボルトなどのちょっとしたカスタムもなかなか楽しいです。

After a long wait, the CAT SKULL NUMBER BOLT is back in stock―this time with a new detail: ears.
While the previous version featured a classic skull, this updated release introduces ears for a playful twist on the original design. The result is a subtle but distinctive change, born from extensive discussions with collaborator Kaus, who crafts these bolts with precision.
Materials
The CAT SKULL NUMBER BOLT is designed for mounting motorcycle license plates.
Each set includes:
2 skull bolts (plastic resin)
2 stainless steel nuts
2 spring washers
4 flat washers
To install, sandwich the license plate and bracket between the flat washers. Secure with the spring washer and nut. If extra stability is needed, adding a larger washer is recommended.
Inside the skull, the bolt head is reinforced with a double-nut structure for durability. During installation, adjust the skull’s angle by gently gripping it with a wrench or pliers, and tighten the bolt from the back. (Do not overtighten.)
This product has been tested on high-vibration motorcycles like the Buell, and has remained stable even after more than 10 years of use. However, for bikes prone to significant vibration―such as vintage models or certain Harley-Davidsons―occasional re-tightening is recommended.

Black − understated, blends seamlessly with darker setups
White − gradually takes on a weathered look, mimicking natural bone over time
This bolt adds an expressive touch to any bike. Depending on your bike’s license plate angle, the skull may face more visibly forward (especially with fender eliminators) or downward for a more mysterious look on standard setups.
