ロアーズオリジナルを始めた頃からの長い付き合いになります、このネコ。
そもそも何でネコ？
ロアーズオリジナルを始める時、ジャンルや流行りにとらわれない好きな物を作るというスタンスでやって行きたいなと思いました。まるでネコのようにわがままに。そんな思いから創業当初からネコをシンボルマークにしています。
実家でネコを飼っていて（ちなみに僕はネコアレルギー）、自分勝手でわがままな動物だな?と前々から思っていました（笑）。でも逆にそれが魅力的だったりもして。。。
ロアーズオリジナルもネコのように好き勝手やっている感じがついつい気になってしまう・・・そんなブランドでありたいなと思っています。
そんな気軽な気持ちでこのネコのデザインをグラフィックの仕事をしていた兄に作ってもらい使用し始めました。
まさか、こんな17年も使い続けるとは思っていませんでしたけど（笑）
いまではとてもお気に入りです。
そのロアーズオリジナルのネコがキーホルダーになりました！一度売り切れてしまったので再発売です。

素材は真鍮です。ニッケルメッキを施し、ネコの部分には樹脂のコーティングをしました。横からみると表面がモリッっとしています。よくみるとこのキーリング・・高級感がありませんか？そうなんです。バイクや車のメーカーのエンブレムを手掛ける日本のメーカーさんに作ってもらいました。よって・・ちょっと高くてすみません（笑）
今回はなんとリングもオリジナル。リングには「ROARS ORIGINAL」のロゴが刻印されています。
個人的にはこうゆうロゴ入りリング、グッと来るんだよな〜（笑）。
僕は画像のようにバイクの鍵でも付けていますが、素材が真鍮なのでキズなどを気になる方はご注意ください。
長い間、ネコのキーホルダーを作りたかったので念願叶って嬉しいです！

This keyring features the cat that has long been associated with ROARS ORIGINAL―dating back to the brand’s very beginning.
Why a cat?
From the outset, ROARS ORIGINAL has aimed to create freely and instinctively―unbound by trends or genre. The brand’s philosophy has always been to make what it loves, much like a cat: independent, willful, and unapologetically itself. This idea led to the adoption of a cat as the brand’s founding symbol.
The cat motif was originally designed by my brother, a graphic designer. It was intended as a lighthearted visual identity―never imagined to last over 17 years. Yet today, it remains one of the most beloved icons of the brand.
Now, that very cat has been transformed into a keyring―reissued after selling out once before.
Material
The keyring is crafted from brass with a nickel-plated finish. The cat itself is coated in resin, giving it a raised, glossy surface when viewed from the side. Despite its playful design, the keyring has a refined presence―manufactured by a Japanese company known for producing automotive emblems for motorcycles and cars.
Details
The keyring includes a custom-made ring engraved with the ROARS ORIGINAL logo. A subtle yet striking touch, this logo-stamped ring adds character and detail. Please note that the brass may scratch over time, especially when used with items like motorcycle keys.
This keyring is a long-awaited release and a personal favorite among the team.
