ロアーズオリジナルから「LETHER SIDE ZIP PARKA / レザーサイドジップパーカー」のご紹介です。
以前からレザーのパーカーを作りたいと思っていましたがどうも納得がいきませんでした。
レザーのパーカーってどこかダサい・・・そんな印象をぬぐえずにいました。
試行錯誤しているうちにプルオーバータイプのデザインがレザーと相性が良い事に気が付きました。
ポップなパーカーにハードなレザーが良いギャップを生み出しています。
しかもレザーのアウターなのにどこにでもラフに着て行けます。
これはちょっとした革命かも（笑）。
レザーは牛革です。
顔料を使用していない「水染め染料」と呼ばれる柔らかくしっとりとしたレザーを使用しています。とても着易いですレザーです。
柔らかく伸縮性があるレザーなので普通のパーカーのようにガバッと頭から被る事もできますが、サイドのジップを開けてジャケットのように脱ぎ着する事も出来ます。
レザーの厚みは1.2㎜を使用しています。程よく重量感のあるパーカーに仕上げました。この厚みがとても相性が良いです。
カラーはブラックのみです。
裏地のイエローが良いアクセントになっています。
こちらの商品はモータサイクル用プロテクターの装着は出来ませんのでご注意ください。
必要な方はパーカーのサイズを大き目を選んで頂きインナープロテクターをお勧めします。
余談ですが実際に作ってみてプルオーバーのレザーパーカーが世の中に少ない理由がわかりました。それは生地の用尺（必要な長さや量）がめちゃくちゃデカいのです。一枚の革から傷の少ない部分を選び大きなパターンで裁断しています。
よってレザーパーカー１着あたりの革の数枚を沢山使っています。
ポップなパーカーにみえてかなりの高級品です（笑）。
レザーサイドジップパーカーは着合わせを考えるのも楽しくなる服です。
レザーパンツと合わせても上下レザーでも威圧感がなくポップな印象になります。
デニムパンツなどと合わせてカジュアルにレザーパーカーを着るのもお勧めです。
レザーサイドジップパーカーは発売して数年経過しましたが、実際に着てみた印象はとても万能で使い易いパーカーです。
バイクのみならず・・・どころか僕は普段着に使っている方が多いです。

The idea of a leather hoodie had been simmering for years.
Early prototypes didn’t quite land ― something about the clash between leather and the typical hoodie shape.
Then came the breakthrough: a pullover design with no center front zipper.
Unexpectedly, the pairing worked.
A laid-back parka silhouette with the durability and depth of real leather. A fresh take that doesn’t feel like “just another leather jacket.”
Design
Pullover hoodie design with side zip for easy on/off
Feels relaxed like a sweatshirt, but delivers the substance of a jacket
Side zipper allows for jacket-style wear or over-the-head hoodie style
Surprisingly lightweight for a full-leather garment
Materials
Outer: Cowhide leather, 1.2mm thick
Dye: Water-dyed (non-pigment), soft and supple finish
Lining: Yellow accent lining adds visual punch
This leather offers a comfortable drape and moderate structure ― a natural match for the hoodie form.
Colors
Black only
Paired with a yellow lining for subtle contrast.
Future color variations are in the works ― just like your favorite cotton hoodies.
Protection
This item does not support motorcycle protectors.
For riding use, consider sizing up to layer with protective innerwear.
Styling Tips
Pairs well with leather pants, without the usual “full-leather” intensity
