ロアーズオリジナルから「LEATHER CREW HAT / レザークルーハット」のご紹介です。

CREW HAT（クルーハット）の名前の由来は船の乗組員が被る帽子から付いたそうです。
特徴はトップに丸みが帯びていて短めのツバが特徴です。
そのクルーハットをレザーで作ったらどうだろうか・・・と思ってしまいました。
クルーハットの丸みのポップさがあれば、レザーのハードな印象を中和してバランスの良いハットが出来るのではと考えました。
思った通りかなりとても良いレザーハットが完成しました。

よく見ると前後のツバの長さが違います。これはミスではありません（笑）
ハットの向きを変える事でツバの長さを変えられるようにしました。
用途やお好みで使い分けて頂けると嬉しいです。

レザーは暑さ1.3㎜の牛革です。裏地はポリエステルツイルです。
使用している牛革はライダースジャケットの「'06」や「'08 BASIC」で使用している
水染めの牛革です。顔料を使っていない染料の牛革です。
柔らかく使い易さに定評があります。
この柔らかさのお陰でバイク移動時にはコンパクトに収納が出来ます。
とても便利です。

手洗いであれば洗濯も可能です。
ここでポイントが一つだけあります、レザーが乾ききる前にオイルで保湿をお願いします。そうして頂くとレザーの柔らかさが保てます。

レザーのメンテナンスはレザーアイテムの頻度が少なくなる暖かい時期にオイルで保湿をお願いします。レザーの柔らかさや色合いを安定させてくれます。
もし、すっかり忘れてレザーが変色してしまった場合は諦める前にロアーズオリジナルにご一報ください。
今は色々な方法でレザーを復活させる事が出来るのでご相談させてください。

レザーのハットはレザーキャップ同様に世の中で頻?に見るものではありませんが、意外や意外、とても使いやすいです。
レザージャケットに合わせるも良し、カジュアルな格好にワンポイントで合わせるも良し、
とても楽しいです。

LEATHER CREW HAT

The name "CREW HAT" is said to have come from the hats worn by ship's crew members. Its distinctive features are a rounded top and a short brim. I wondered what would happen if I made a crew hat out of leather... I thought the rounded, pop-like feel of a crew hat would balance out the hard look of leather and create a well-balanced hat. Just as I expected, the result was a very nice leather hat.

If you look closely, you'll notice that the front and back brims are different lengths. This is not a mistake (lol). You can change the brim length by turning the hat around. We hope you'll use it for various purposes and preferences.

The leather is 1.3mm thick cowhide. The lining is polyester twill. The cowhide used is the same water-dyed cowhide used in our "06" and "08 BASIC" rider's jackets. This is cowhide leather dyed without pigments. It's renowned for its softness and ease of use. Thanks to its softness, it can be stored compactly when traveling by motorcycle. It's very convenient.

It can be washed by hand. There's just one important tip: moisturize the leather with oil before it dries completely. This will help maintain its softness.

For leather maintenance, moisturize with oil during the warmer months when leather items are worn less. This will help stabilize the leather's softness and color. If you completely forget and the leather has discolored, please contact Roars Original before giving up. There are now a variety of methods available to restore leather, so please let us know if you need help.

Leather hats, like leather caps, are not seen very often, but surprisingly, they are very easy to use. You can pair them with a leather jacket or as a focal point for casual wear. It's a lot of fun. Please give it a try.
