Introducing the "FUNCTION JACKET" from ROARS ORIGINAL.

As the name suggests, this jacket is designed with a strong emphasis on functionality―so much so that its appearance is intentionally bold and utilitarian. It carries a distinct, cool vibe, reminiscent of gear worn by special forces.

True to its name, the materials are highly functional. It features a three-layer fabric construction with an integrated waterproof and windproof film. With a water resistance rating of 11,000mm―surpassing the 10,000mm threshold generally considered necessary for heavy rain―it offers reliable performance. Please note, however, that the seams are not sealed, so it is not fully waterproof and should not be relied upon as a dedicated rain garment.

The collar is another highlight. While tall, it is soft enough to compress comfortably when wearing a helmet. It fits snugly around the neck, effectively blocking out wind and rain. A hood is concealed within the collar―perfect for sudden downpours or as a stylish accent. (We recommend keeping the hood stowed away when riding at higher speeds, as it may flap in the wind.)

This jacket is designed to accommodate motorcycle-specific protectors, which can be inserted into the elbows, shoulders, back, and chest. The mesh protectors offered by ROARS ORIGINAL are lightweight, breathable, and resilient. You can choose whether or not to include these protectors when placing your order. Since ROARS ORIGINAL uses a standardized protector system across all its apparel, these inserts can also be used in other items from the collection.

The outer shell is made of nylon, while the lining is polyester. The outer fabric is a three-layer nylon composite with an integrated windproof/waterproof film and a water-repellent surface finish. The inner lining consists of a polyester mesh fabric. There is no padding or down insulation in the lining, so you can think of this as an all-season piece.
The outer shell is highly functional, allowing you to wear layers underneath and use it even during the colder months.
In spring and autumn, it pairs perfectly with a long-sleeve T-shirt or a button-down shirt.
Because the fabric is waterproof, it will get extremely hot in the summer―so I wouldn’t recommend wearing it then! (Haha)

It comes in three colors: Black, Orange, and Gray.
The Black version features matching black water-resistant zippers, giving it a cool, "special forces" aesthetic.
The Orange version has a "rescue team" vibe―it’s really sharp and quite compelling.
If you already own a black jacket and are on the fence, the Gray version is a great choice; it’s a lovely shade of gray with a subtle hint of green.

In short, this is a functional jacket designed to appeal to the masculine sensibility. Since its release, I’ve realized that this kind of "fashion-meets-function" jacket is incredibly versatile―you can wear it for a long stretch of the year by simply adjusting your layers, making it perfect for spring, autumn, and winter.
