ロアーズオリジナルから「TARPAULIN BACK PACK /ターポリンバックパック」の御紹介です。
もう覚えてくれている人も少ないと思いますが10数年ぶりに復活しました。
ターポリンバックパックです。
復活出来なかった理由は最近よく聞く「日本で作れる工場さんが少なくなった問題」でした。
だがしかし、ついに復活しました！
自分でデザインしておいて何ですがこんな面倒な作りのバックパックを作ってくれる工場さんがまだ日本にあると思いませんでした。感謝です。
生地はターポリンです。ターポリンとはポリエステルを合成樹脂で挟んだ耐水性の生地です。
ファスナーに止水ファスナーを使用していますので防水性が高いです。
ただし、縫い目にシームテープを使っていないため完全防水とは言えません。ご了承ください。
デザインはまるでバックパックにまるで羽根が生えたような形をしています。
このデザインはモータサイクルを運転している時でもバック自体にスピード感を持たせたい意図があります。
一般のバックパックはどうしても動きのないデザインが多く感じられます。
そのためモータサイクルとバックパックの相性が悪いと思ってしまうのかも知れません。
このデザインであれば、モータサイクルを乗る時にあえてバックパックを装着して出掛けたくなるのでは！と期待しています。
バックパックの容量は縦50cm 横35cm 奥行19cmの約30リッターの大き目のバックパックです。見た目のわりに容量は結構入ります。
１〜2泊のツーリングにもお勧めです。
羽根部分は着脱可能です。
重量や機能、デザインを軽くしたい時に便利です。
細かいディテールについてなどは説明していたら日が暮れるので省略させて頂きます（笑）
使って頂けると理解してもらえると思います。
カラー展開はブラックのみです。
ターポリン生地の表と裏の艶の違いを組み合わせています。
このターポリンバックパックはカジュアルな服装にも合いますが、
なんと言ってもライダースジャケットとの相性が抜群です。
ライダースジャケットに似合うバックパックなんて聞いたことがありませんっ。
バイクに乗った後ろ姿がめちゃカッコイイです！

TARPAULIN BACK PACK from ROARS ORIGINAL
The TARPAULIN BACK PACK returns after more than a decade. Once discontinued due to the limited availability of domestic manufacturing facilities in Japan, it has finally made a comeback. This backpack features a uniquely complex construction that few factories can still produce ― a rare fusion of functionality and craftsmanship.
Design
The design features distinctive “wing-like” side panels, creating a sense of dynamic motion even when stationary. This visual language complements motorcycle use, making the backpack an intentional part of the riding experience ― not merely an accessory but a functional statement.
With approximate dimensions of 50cm (H) × 35cm (W) × 19cm (D), the backpack offers a spacious 30-liter capacity. Ideal for overnight or two-day trips. The wing panels are detachable, allowing the user to adjust for weight and appearance as needed.
Material
Crafted from tarpaulin, a highly water-resistant material consisting of polyester layered with synthetic resin. The zippers are waterproof, enhancing overall resistance to moisture. However, please note that due to the lack of seam sealing, the item is not fully waterproof.
Styling
Only available in black. The exterior design makes clever use of contrasting gloss levels between the inner and outer sides of the tarpaulin material. While suitable for casual outfits, it pairs especially well with riders jackets ― a combination rarely seen, yet remarkably stylish when viewed from the rear while riding.
Due to the number of intricate design elements, full detailing is omitted here ― but becomes self-evident upon use. Highly recommended for riders and urban users seeking a bold yet functional backpack.
