MOD's COAT / モッズコート
ロアーズオリジナルから「MOD COAT (モッズコート)」の御紹介です。
こちらはアメリカ陸軍のM-51パーカー、通称モッズコートを再現しながら新たなデザインと機能を加えていいます。
あれ？このモッズコート当時物だよね・・？と言われてもおかしくないくらいのリアルな作りです。しかし・・それだけでは現代に作る意味が足りないと考えロアーズオリジナルらしさを加えました。
裏地は防風ナイロンの二枚合わせにしました。バイクに乗る時にも風の侵入を防ぎます。
さらにライナーも現代的です。当時物のモッズコートはとにかく重い！(笑）。ロアーズオリジナルではあえてライナーをシンサレートの薄く軽く温かい仕様にしました。とても良いです。
デザインもダブルのライダースジャケットのような中心からずれている前開きです。
一見、ビンテージのモッズコートに見えて不思議な違和感を感じるところが面白いです。
さらに、ファーが外れたり、フードが外せてスタンドカラーで着用出来たり、ライナーが取れたり、袖が外れてベストで着用出来たり・・・はい、明らかにやり過ぎてしまいました（笑）
が、しかし！・・・ファーが外れたら洗えるし、フードとライナーが外せたら春も着れるし、袖が外れたらライダースジャケットと重ね着を楽しめるし・・・良い事尽くしのはずです！
さらにさらに、こちらのモッズコートはなんと「革袖」の装着可能です。
革袖とはロアーズオリジナルでオプションとして販売されております取り外し可能のレザーの袖です。
革袖シリーズはベストやジャケットに装着する事により、ファッション性や安全性を高められる商品です。
「革袖」は現在発売しているタイプであれば全てモッズコートに装着可能です。自分だけのオリジナルの組み合わせをお楽しみ下さい。

リアルなモッズコートに革袖の組み合わせはギャップがとても良いです。
サイズはM / L / XL展開です。
真冬のオーバーコートとしても活用頂きたいと思い大きめに作っています。
よって、Sサイズは無くМサイズからの展開になります。
少し変わったサイズ感なので申し訳ありませんがご注文の際はご注意ください。
※バイク用プロテクターの装着する袋は付いていません。
2025年から新色のブラックが追加されました。
もちろん当時物のモッズコートにはブラックはありませんが無いからこその面白ろさがあります。

This is a reproduction of the US Army's M-51 parka, commonly known as a mod coat, with new design and functionality added.
We considered the significance of recreating a mod coat in modern times and added a ROAR'S ORIGINAL touch.
The lining is made of two layers of windproof nylon. This keeps the wind out even when riding a motorcycle.
The liner is also modern. Vintage mod coats are so heavy! ROAR'S ORIGINAL deliberately made the liner thin, light, and warm. It's great.
The design also features an off-center front opening, like a biker jacket.
At first glance, it looks like a vintage mod coat, but the strange incongruity is what makes it interesting.
What's more, the fur can be removed, the hood can be removed to wear it as a stand-up collar, the liner can be removed, and the sleeves can be detached to wear it as a vest...Yes, we clearly went a little overboard (lol).
But! ...you can wash it by removing the fur, wear it in spring by removing the hood and liner, and enjoy layering it with a biker jacket by removing the sleeves...it's got all the good stuff!
What's more, this mod coat can be equipped with "leather sleeves". Leather sleeves are removable leather sleeves, sold as an option and exclusive to ROARS. The Leather Sleeve series is a product that can be attached to vests and jackets to enhance fashion and safety.

The combination of a realistic mod coat and leather sleeves creates a great contrast.
Available in sizes M/L/XL.
We made them larger so that they could also be used as an overcoat in the dead of winter.
Therefore, there is no S size, and the product starts from M.
We apologize for the slightly unusual sizing, but please be careful when ordering.
*A bag for attaching motorcycle protectors is not included.
