ROARS RIDERS JACKETS から「PADDED RIDERS JACKET（パデットライダースジャケット）」の御紹介です。
「PADDED」(パデッド)とは、パットのことです。ご覧の通り、こちらのライダースジャケットはパットだらけ（笑）とても恰好良いです。
パットの内部には固くて厚いウレタンのスポンジが入っています。デザインのみならず機能的にも安心感があります。
首元は高めのスタンドカラーになっていて珍しいデザインになっています。
特徴的なのはデザインの他にレザーにもあります。 今回のレザーは「シボ付の牛革」を使用しました。「シュリンク」と言われるレザーでシボの多い年齢の重ねた牛革に薬品を使い、そのシボをより際立たせたレザーです。
「ROARS RIDERS JACKETS 06」、「BASIC」に使用している「水染め染料の牛革」に比べると固めで厚めですが、また新たな雰囲気が楽しめると思います。
裏地には全色、エンジ色の裏地を使用しビンテージ感もありながら新しいデザインとのバランスが気に入っています。
「ROARS RIDERS JACKETS 」では、「水染め牛革」のライダースジャケットに関して表面のポケットはダミーにしているのですが、今回の「PADDED」はレザーも硬めで型崩れが起き難いのでポケットの使用が可能になっております。
2016年はスペシャルカラーに「レッド」が加わりました。染料で染めた後に顔料で仕上げているので強くぶつけたりすると色が剥げる場合があります。ご注意下さい。

サイズはM/L展開です。 「ROARS RIDERS JACKETS 06」、「BASIC」に比べて大き目の作りになっています。
デザイン的にもレザー的にも余裕を持ったサイズ感に仕上げました。ピッタリ過ぎるライダースはちょっと苦手という方にもおすすめです。
前身頃のファスナーは逆開ファスナーになっています。下側からファスナーを開ける事により腰を曲げた状態の逃がしや、ライダースジャケットに動きをつけるのもおすすめです。
「PADDED RIDERS JACKET」はお陰様でリクエストが多く、再販売となりました。着用して気持ちも上がり、安全性も高い、お気に入りのライダースジャケットです。 レザーは固めで厚めですが着易く着心地は良いです。
これから自分の形に変化すると思うとワクワクしてしまうようなライダースジャケットです。

The Padded Riders Jacket delivers what it promises: pads from shoulders to waist - with a coolness factor you'll never want to be without again. But the pads aren't just for show. The highly solid urethane material they're made from offers protection too. And it feels so great, you'll catch yourself wanting to touch it just for the sake of it every now and then! Our pad-oriented design is complemented by a stand-up collar - a rare sight in motorcycle fashion.
The design isn't the only thing that's noteworthy about this jacket though, the leather is too. We use a special process that highlights the texture of the aged cowhide, making the grain stand out naturally on the thick material’s surface - a sight to behold indeed! Production, tanning and sewing are all done in Japan.
The inside of the jacket is Bordeaux-colored. This vintage touch provides a nice contrast to the otherwise modern design. The outside comes in classic blue or black and - a novelty introduced with our SS 2015 collection - also in grey.
The fastener on the front allows reverse opening for increased comfort when seated, as well as a more dynamic look. Standard sizes are M and L.
Out of stock, but never forgotten, we were able to bring back the Padded Riders Jacket thanks to popular demand. Something we are very happy about, since we love this jacket so much.
