DEAD AIR VEST Ⅲ（デットエアーベスト３）の発売です。 革袖の装着できる秋冬ベストとして人気があります、DEAD AIR VEST シリーズですが その中でもこのデットエアーベスト３はとても好評を頂いております。
デットエアーベスト３はベスト単体でも、革袖を装着しても楽しめます。 特にベスト＋革袖により、オリジナル性の高いジャケットを手に入れる事ができ、ただの革ジャンでもなく、ただのベストでもない特別感が嬉しい１着です。
ライダースジャケットはカッコイイのですが、ちょっとハードに感じる時もあります。 街乗りやカフェに行く時など、普段使いもしたいアウターは意外と見つかり難いものです。そんな時、このデットエアーベストはとても便利です。
ベスト本体はナイロンとウールをご用意しました。カジュアルにナイロン、シックにウールみたいな感覚です。バイクを乗る時に沢山使いたい方はナイロン、どちらかと言えば普段着にという方はウールをお勧めします。
デザインはライダースジャケットのような斜めのファスナーの仕様で、正面からの風に強いです。 スタンドカラーの内部にはスエットのフードが入っていて、フードを出して着用してもアクセントになります。
ベスト内部の中綿は東洋紡さんから提案されている高機能中綿『SHRAPE』（シュレープ）を使用しています。「デットエアーベスト」のネーミングは『SHRAPE』の説明書きにあるデットエアー（動かない空気）から頂きました。 もう長年この中綿を使わせて頂いておりますが、クレープ状に重なり合った構造によりとても暖かく、好評です。
カラー展開はナイロンがブラック、ブルー、ベージュの3色。ウールは黒に近いダークネイビー、杢グレーの2色です。ナイロンとウールでは価格が違うのでご注意下さい。
機能は優れていてもハードなアウターでは、ちょっと重い時や普段着としても両立させたい時、そんな時は「デットエアーベスト」はとても良いです。
ベスト単体でもシャツ等と重ね着を楽しめ、ベスト＋革袖によりオリジナル性の高いジャケットを作れます。自分だけの特別感にワクワクします。
サイズ感にもよりますが、ベスト単体でもライダースジャケットの上から着用する事も出来ます。１月～２月の真冬のバイクにはお勧めの着用方法です。

Dead Air Vest III
ROARS ORIGINAL is proud to present the Dead Air Vest III, a popular member of our family of Autumn/Winter vests with attachable leather sleeves.
You like wearing vests as much as jackets? Then the transformable Dead Air Vest III is exactly what you are looking for. Not only can it quickly be turned from vest to jacket and vice versa according to your mood and needs, the combination of vest and leather sleeves also looks rather unique.
We do love leather jackets, but sometimes they feel a bit too cool for the short ride to town or a quick stop at the local coffee shop, don’t they? This is where our vest comes in handy. It perfectly blends in with every situation. The vest comes in casual nylon and classy wool. We recommend nylon if you want to use it mainly for riding your motorcycle. Wool is a good choice if you are planning to wear it off the road most of the time.
Similar to our Riders Jacket the fastener is embedded diagonally into the fabric, making it strong against headwinds. The stand-up collar accommodates a hood that can be worn against the cold or simply be pulled out as an accentuation. The vest’s filling consists of Toyobo’s high-functional cotton type “Shrape”. Shrape is stacked in multiple layers, extremely warm and has never let us down in all the winters we have been relying on its insulating function. On a side note: The vest’s name is based on a term used in Toyobo’s description of the cotton. Shrape is enclosing the warm air, not letting it move out. The air is trapped in a dead space, therefore the term dead air.
The vest’s nylon edition comes in black, navy or beige, the woolen edition in a deep, almost black navy or grey. It looks great when worn over a shirt and easily turns into a jacket when combined with the leather sleeves. If you like to experiment and find new looks you need look no further. If adequately sized the vest can also be worn on top of a leather jacket, making it the perfect companion for those really cold winter days. Why don’t you give it a shot?
